Meeting Mrs. Lankford

My Family

Here's my story. My husband and I met in the Driver's Ed classroom our Junior year of High School. The most bizarre part is that my husband (Michael) now teaches Driver's Ed in that exact classroom! CRAZY right?!? While I was hitting barely missing cones, Michael was scoring 100 % on every test. I was jealous! We started "hanging out" that summer and have been "hanging out" together ever since. We both graduated from The University of South Florida. I received a degree in Elementary Education and he received his in Physical Education.

We then got engaged...on the Dallas Cowboys 50 yard line during a private tour of the facility! Clearly my husband wanted the two things he loved the most together forever!

I got to plan my wedding at the exact same time I was drowning in my first year teaching Kindergarten. Super stressful but super fun!

One year later we got some fabulous news that we were expecting our first child.

Kylee was born on April 17th 2012. We were not prepared for the rollercoaster of love we were about to experience. Check out this cutie!

And just when we thought we got the hang of one kiddo we got another wave of good news!

Our 2nd cutie Kenzi was born February 7th 2014. Our hearts are full and our days are long but we wouldn't have it any other way!

That's my story. I'd love to hear yours!
